No baby monitor? No white noise machine? No problem.
hush turns the phones you already carry into a baby monitor that alerts you when your baby cries, a white noise machine that's gentle at the crib, and a sleep log. At home, at Grandma's, or in a hotel room on the other side of the world.
White noise and sleep log free. Monitor free for 4 days, then €2.99 once.
Two phones.
One quiet night.
Leave an old phone by the crib. It listens for crying, and yours gets an alert wherever you are: the next room, the hotel bar or the garden.

Pair by typing a code or scanning it. Several parents can pair.
Alert right away, or only when crying keeps going. Short fusses can be ignored.
Tap to hear the room, or get a short clip with each cry alert. Off unless you turn it on.
Crying is detected right on the baby's phone. Sound is never recorded or uploaded.

Turn it down from the next room.
Start or stop the white noise on the baby's phone without opening the door.
- See the room at a glance. All quiet, crying, or the white noise that's playing, with the battery level.
- Battery and connection alerts. You'll know if the baby's phone runs low or stops listening.
- A short summary every morning. How often your baby cried, and for how long.
Twelve sounds.
One safe ceiling.
Hospital nurseries keep sound under 50 dB. Tell hush how far the phone is from the crib, and while it plays, your volume buttons can't go past that line. Tap a sound to hear it.
Estimates for a typical phone speaker. The white tick is 50 dB.
Know when the next nap is coming.
hush starts from the usual awake times for your baby's age, then learns your baby's own rhythm. Every nap and night lands on a timeline, on every phone you've paired.
Every nap and night at a glance
A 24-hour timeline with crying from the monitor. Week and month views show the trend.

Next nap
From your baby's age and recent sleeps.
Week by week
Hours of sleep per day, and whether the nights are getting calmer.
What's typical at this age
Awake time between sleeps, naps a day, total sleep, and what's coming up next. With a nudge 10 minutes before the best window.
Pack light.
Sleep well.
No extra gadgets, chargers or adapters. hush works in any room with two phones and an internet connection, and the white noise works offline.

The nursery stays in the nursery.
Listens, never records
Crying is recognised by a small sound model on the baby's phone. Audio isn't saved or sent.
No account, no ads
No sign-up, no tracking, no analytics. Your sleep history lives on your own phones.
Listen-in is your call
Off unless you turn it on. Clips go only to your paired phones and are deleted after a day.
Questions
Can I really use my phone as a baby monitor?
Yes. One phone stays in the baby's room and listens for crying; your phone gets a notification when your baby cries. Both phones need an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) for alerts. hush is a helper, not a medical device, so always check on your baby yourself.
Do I need two phones?
For the baby monitor, yes: one by the crib and one with you. An old phone in a drawer is perfect for the crib. Several parents can pair. White noise, nap times and the sleep log work on a single phone.
Does it work with the screen off?
Yes. The baby's phone keeps listening with the screen locked, and white noise keeps playing. Keep the baby's phone plugged in overnight.
How much does it cost?
White noise, nap times, the sleep log and parents' phones are free. The baby monitor is free for 4 days on the baby's phone, then €2.99 once. No subscription.
Does hush record or upload sound?
No. Crying is detected on the phone and audio is never saved. The only exception is listen-in, which you turn on yourself: short clips go only to your paired phones and are deleted after a day. Read the privacy policy.
Is there an iPhone version?
hush is on Android first. An iPhone version is in the works.
Which languages does it speak?
English, Ελληνικά, Deutsch, Français, Español, Português and 中文.
